CPS, also known as Control and Protective Switching Device, is a new type of low-voltage electrical product. The standards it complies with are IEC60947-6-2 (1997) "Low voltage switchgear and control equipment Part 6: Multifunctional electrical appliances Section 2: Control and protection switchgear" and GB14048.9-1998 "Low voltage switchgear and control equipment Multifunctional electrical appliances (equipment) Part 2: Control and protection switchgear (equipment)".
CPS integrates traditional circuit breakers (fuses), contactors, overload (or overvoltage, phase failure, leakage, etc.) protection relays, starters, isolators, motor comprehensive protectors and other main functions. It has remote automatic control and local direct manual control functions, panel display and electromechanical signal alarm functions, overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, phase failure protection, undercurrent protection, current imbalance protection, overcurrent protection, locked rotor protection, short circuit protection, leakage protection and other functions. It has the advantages of small size, high reliability, strong short-circuit breaking ability, and short arc distance.
It is mainly used for AC 50Hz, rated working voltage up to 690V, main rated current from 16A to 125A, adjustable working current of intelligent controller from 0.16A to 125A, and power from 0.05kW to 55kW in power systems. It can connect, carry and disconnect current or voltage under normal conditions (including specified overload conditions), as well as connect, carry and disconnect current or voltage under abnormal conditions (such as short circuit, undervoltage, etc.) for a certain period of time.

The number of poles in the main circuit is divided into three poles and four poles.
The basic configuration of QZCPS series control and protection switchgear is: main body+intelligent controller+auxiliary contact group.
The main body consists of the basic modules of the main circuit, namely the contact system module, short-circuit release, electromagnetic system module, and operating mechanism system module.
Short circuit breaking capacity level: C-economy type is 15kA, Y-standard type is 50kA, H-high breaking type is 80kA.
The auxiliary contact group consists of short circuit alarm contacts, overload alarm contacts, and a set of 2 normally open and 1 normally closed auxiliary contacts. 02 is 2 normally open and 1 normally closed+1 short circuit and 1 overload; 06 is 4 normally open 2 normally closed+1 short circuit overload: 09 is 2 normally open 1 normally closed.
The expected breaking time under short-circuit current is 2-3ms, with a current limiting coefficient below 0.2.
